What is F.A.M.I.L.Y.?

F.A.M.I.L.Y. stands for “Forget About Me I Love You”. 

F.A.M.I.L.Y. encourages oneself to live a life of selfless, unconditional love for one another. F.A.M.I.L.Y. is sacrifice. To love one another is to sacrifice for that person. When you give up yourself to another person you create a family. You create a bond that is unbreakable.


How to Implement F.A.M.I.L.Y. in a Team Environment?


F.A.M.I.L.Y. must begin with the coaches. As a coach, you must have a servant type of leadership. As a leader, a coach sacrifices his whole self to their team. When living out F.A.M.I.L.Y. you build a relationship with every athlete by creating a positive environment where the athletes see the coach having each other's back. A coach gains trust between his athletes by allowing each athlete to be comfortable to speak up.

Team barbecues, beach days, game nights, etc.

* Giving back to your community as a team

Volunteer work

* Create a Leadership Team

Gather your captains together once a week to hear any issues whether that be good or bad
